Return to Russia, More of Moscow

Turns out I might be going back to Russia (Moscow again) pretty soon (for 3 days this time) still, I did pretty well for myself in an hour the last time. Here are some stills:

Behind this tremendous building lies one of the biggest and worst HATER testimonies I've heard...

Saint Basil's Catherdral, Red Square was designed and built by architect Postnik Yakovlev. Its said that Ivan the Terrible (who the building was commissioned by) ordered Yakovlev to be blinded when the chapel was completed, to prevent him ever from ever building anything of such beauty again. I feel your pain Yakovlev! (well, nearly...)

Some scenes from the hotel lobby

Me outside a very good restaurant and blues bar

Some interesting architecture - a feel of Moscow

A MASSIVE concert stage in the middle of Red Square, just for me! Hee hee ;D

Red Square, the Kremlin and the smiley Anya (top chick!)

Hhhm, what to wear...

Some retro lighting at the airport (aint seen this style in a while)

You know when I got there, there were all these lil flecks of white dust-looking fluff floating around in the air! Turns out it was pollen but there was lots - it looked like snow. Speaking of which, I'm hoping when I get back to Moscow, they'll have winter collections so I can get one of those GIANT furry coats to bring back for when the weather's really cold... you know the kind... they're so warm that you aint gotta wear much underneath? (Er, that was only an example - wash your brain) xxx

Sewuese in Russia

Hey Sewuese here. Singer, songwriter. I've been doing lotsa travelling, writing, meetings, amongst other things so I aint had a great deal of time on my hands, so this is my first post on my own blogspot! (check krakmusic.blogspot for other posts but also been busy with myspace/facebook... bebo's still taking off!). Plus I'm still waiting for my photos to come through from the day I met the one and only Quincy Jones (yes, QJ the 1st!) one of my heroes. Incidentally at the same time, my camera decided to be a bitch and not work so am waiting for the kind soul who snapped the pics to email them to me. Yes, I did really happen!!! Ask Chris Tucker... he was there too.

Anyway, I'm gonna keep back-tracking cos I've had quite a few adventures and I've mostly got the pictures to prove it. So here's a post of me in Russia a few weeks ago, playing my role as what Eska describes on her July mypace blog as a 'tourist attraction'.... yes people, I'm black. No, I'm not Beyonce! I got asked for photos 3 times in 45 minutes. I pretended I was famous already, but I'm getting ahead of myself. That's not gonna happen til May!
